The town roads in Georgia are now posted with weight restrictions until May 1st. If you have any questions regarding these restrictions please contact the highway departments at 802-524-3323.
Overview
The Georgia Public Works Department was created in 2022 as a way to better meet the needs and requirements of managing the Town of Georgia's properties. The Public Works Department is responsible for:
- Budgeting for Town buildings and properties
- Oversight of Utility billing for all Town properties
- Coordinating repair and maintenance of Town-owned properties
- Oversight of summer maintenance and mowing at all Town properties
